Ed Wilson
Ed found his passion for podcasting when he co-created the video game music podcast PixelTunes Radio, and later branched out to other shows like The Impulse Project, Audio PanicRoom, and The VGMbassy. He fell in love with industrial music in the mid-90s after listening to a ton of New Wave and electronic bands as a kid, and his compulsion to exhaustively research everything he enjoys has turned him into a walking encyclopedia of the industrial scene.
Citing Wax Trax! acts like Ministry, Front 242, Sister Machine Gun, and Die Warzau as his "gateway drugs" to the darker side of music, Ed hopes The Arcane Machine will educate and inspire fans and newcomers alike.
Justin Schneider
Justin graduated from Wagner College in 2005, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, and a minor in Music. As an IT Professional, he’s been into technology from a young age, as well as a lot of music made with technology - drum machines, synths, etc. Some of his 1st "Alternative" musical experiences were with bands like Nine Inch Nails, Type O Negative, & Rammstein. This eventually lead him to dive down the deep well of Gothic Dance & Gothic Rock music, discovering older bands like Bauhaus, Siouxsie & the Banshees, & The Sisters of Mercy, but also music from Covenant, KMFDM, & Wolfsheim.
Justin also co-hosts a Video Game Music (VGM) podcast called XVGM Radio.
